Psychologists beginning their careers typically earn $30,000-45,000 annually. Psychologists with 5-10 of work experience usually make between $55,000-80,000 a year. Those with more than 10 years of experience average between $80,000-150,000 annually. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics the median salary for child psychologists is about $64,000 a year.
